Happy Birthday, Mike!

This was supposed to be a birthday weekend, and it is everyone else, but not for me. I actually spent more time in the airports than I did with everyone. It's a long story; it's all because I tried to avoid Wilma, but didn't listen to Darren and Tom like I should have.

I'm sure photos of the remaining festivities will be posted on Dylan's and Mike's sites. It was alot of fun, guys! I hope the rest of the weekend is just as good!

Almost forgot!  Check Cindy and Roland's site also; they have some great pic there too.  As you will see, pretty much all of the pics with me in them show that I was fairly drunk the whole night!

This place is awesome! I've always wanted to go, but never could get anyone to come with me. Finally I got my cousin Andy and his girlfriend Montse (I originally misspelled her name as Monce, hece Andy's comment ) to come with me.

We only got to do the mill because Montse had a formal dinner to attend with several dignitaries and had to leave early. But the weekend after Tampa we're going back to do the hay ride, the corn-field walk, and the dungeon. I can't wait!!

Jhason and Virginie have announced a special gift to the world: their own child!  Many blessings, prayers, and good wishes to our good friends who have embarked on a new milestone in their lives.

DABU Generation II begins!!!

Awesome weekend!! Hershey Park has a reputation for being sucky (when compared to King's Dominion and Busch Gardens, and it still doesn't hold a candle to them), but we had a blast anyway. If you get yerself up there, make sure to ride Storm Chaser. At first you'll be like, "Goddamm!!! 0-72mph in less than 2 seconds is AMAZING!!!!" I wasn't phased myself, but that's only because the Firebird does the same thing in half the time....

As usual, I am very happy to have been invited to your lovely home to celebrate your birthday. It was a blast as was the Lu-Au (did I spell that right?).

Roland and Cindy, your place is definitely the new party spot. The times I have been there have been filled with great cooking, great food, great music (special thanx to Oscar for bringing his awesome CD), and beautiful ladies. Roland needs to have more Lu-Aus (misspelled??) and Cindy needs to have more birffdays.

Speaking of lovely ladies, here's my shameless plug: Sandy, you are gorgeous!! I hope my saying this isn't too forward or embarrassing...

Labor Day Weekend Summary:

Started out with me drinking by myself on Friday (not pictured).

Saturday: Down to the Castle to meet Chris and Jason (pleasant surprise-he was back in town for a wedding or something).  Hit the DC Nationals game thanks to me and my awesome AST seats.  Got drunk, got reprimanded for being rude and obnoxious at the game, and met some hot chick named Jen on the subway afterwords.  Tried to pass out and get some rest at Chris' in order to avoid Checkpoint Strikeforce.  Didn't leave till I was sober, but got no sleep thanks to Chris' snores.

Sunday: Couldn't make it to Abuan's house in time to catch a ride with them to the Air Show at Pax River NAS, but met up with them later in the day after riding the CBR to the location.  Successfully climbed the wall and saw the Blue Angels perform for the first time since I was 8 or something.  Rode back to Abuan's house, stopping off for crabs and produce, and had a kick-ass dinner courtesy of Jhason and Virginie.

Monday (prediction): sleep, Playstation 2, and Reno 911 all day.  I'll shower before sunset I'm sure...

The OC 2005 Drunken Excursion was a success as usual! Summary of events:

Friday afternoon-Kevin and Julie arrive. We start drinking at Hannah's Tiki Bar and get a surprise visit by Chris, Darren, and Mike after Chris desperately tried to make me believe that Mike missed his flight and they wouldn't be arriving untiul Sunday afternoon. Back to the beach house for more drinks. Jhason and Virginie arrive and back to Hannah's for more drinks. After Hannah's closes, back to the and nakedness by Darren and Jhason in the pool. Everyone is freaked out (especially Virginie) by Jhason's "calisthenics". Everyone is freaked out again by Jhason's promise of Tai Chi and Yoga the following evening. We managed not to get yelled at by the neighbors on this not only.

Saturday-Went to Dumser's for a bad breakfast with my head pounding terribly. Off to the beach after that where I made myself very sick swimming out to catch some damn seagull a mile from shore. Back to the beach house to be lazy all day and drink some more. Excellent barbecue feast prepared by Jhason. Finally off to Seacrets to drink Rum Runners and talk to very drunk girls. Big props to Mike for basically buying every drink that night. Also props to Mike for being the only one to get girls over to our table. Back to the beach house for another late-night swim session with drunk/naked Darren and Jhason. This time we got yelled at by the neighbors. If this is the worse thing I did this time around, my grandparents will be impressed.

Sunday-Everyone was tired and hung over again. Once everyone finished getting dressed, we headed off to Bull on the Beach for some seafood. We said our goodbyes to Jhason, Virginie, Kevin, and Julie. Darren, Chris, Mike, and I returned to the house where everyone took a nap while I cleaned up. Then we all said goodbye and closed another awesome weekend at Ocean City...

It's always great to have Andreas visit us! Thanks to everyone who came out to spend some time together and make these photos great. Too bad we can't hang out like this all the time...  Also, too bad Anja (Andreas' awesome girlfriend) couldn't make it.  She is alot of fun to hang out with!

Total event recap:

08/06/05 - picked up Andreas from Dulles.  Went straight to Chris' for a barbecue and some beers with Jason (the co-guest-of-honor with Andreas-farewell, Jason, I, like Mike, will miss you the most!), Chris, Dylan, Jo Ann, Andy, Shelly, Danny, Darren, and Sahar (apologies to anyone whose name I forgot to list--the long week of beer-drinking has stunted my meory).  Next, Vikash commanded us to go to Baltimore for drinks in Federal Hill.  Finally, back to my apartment in Owings Mills to pass out and sleep off the alcohol.

08/07/05 - woke up late with hangovers.  Went to Towson Town Center for some shopping, then carried out Commander Patel's orders to go for Sushi in Baltimore and hit an Irish Pub thereafter.  We got to sit in O'Malley's Corner, which I peed all over since he's such a bleeding-heart liberal.  The waitress there was really cute, however, and I thin k she was checking me out...

08/08/05 - woke up late with hangovers.  Went to the Porsche dealership in Owings Mills to get a few picutres next to the Carerra GT (price tag ~$500K).  Off to UMCP to tour our old campus.  We felt like kings in front of all the puny little college kids.  Had some food and beers at the Cornerstone.  That's when all the memories of college life came flooding back in and I got all teary-eyed and sappy.  We both agreed that while alot of college life is a pain in the ass, we still miss it severely.  I, for one, would love to go back to the good old days when we all lived and hung out with one another on campus.  At least I know what heaven will be like if I am good for the rest of my life...  Back to my apartment for barbecuing and beer drinking.  Everyone was working and had bed times, so we were trapped this night drinking by ourselves.  At least we got some rest with our drunkenness.

08/09/05 - woke up late with hangovers.  The bottle of Ramazzotti Andreas brought from Germany kicked our asses more than we expected, so this day was the day of rest.  Drank beers at the apartment until about 7pm, then met up with Becky, Kuljeet, Vandana, Dave, and Claire at Jillian's in Arundel Mills.  Played some pool and drank alot.

08/10/05 - woke up late with hangovers.  Hit Baltimore for some crabs and Mai Tais at the Bay Cafe.  Next, Andreas got to take the CBR for a spin.  He's a natural on it and I got the gift of being able to hear it from a 3rd-person perspective.  You guys were right: my bike is L-O-U-D!!  Off to DC to meet Darren, Sahar, and Jo Ann at Aroma.  Awesome surprise visit by Chris and Dylan.  Then off to Garretts and Third Edition with Jhason, Viriginie, and Delphine.  Much drinking that night for sure.  Accidentally burned Virginie's foot with a cigarette.  Sorry about that, girl .

08/11/05 - woke up late with hangovers.  Had just enough time for Andreas to pack before we rolled out for the airport.  Last days always suck, now I have the Sunday Blues on a Thursday night.  Seeing my old friend is always the absolute best, but it does leave me sad when it's over.  All the memories of good times past are just as fleeting as the good times themselves.  At least I know we'll hang out again soon.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and gave Andreas a good time this week.  You guys helped me relax and unwind from work as well.  I can't wait till the next time we see everyone!!

And another one leaves us...

It sucks that you're leaving, Mike, but, as these pictures will show, at least you left with a bang!! Best of luck with your future. Make it the best like everything you do.

P.S.-Thanks to all the HOTTIE girls who boosted my ego tonight and posed for pictures with me. I needed that...

This place is the absolute best!!  I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs automotive service.  The staff are highly skilled and knowlegable, the prices are VERY reasonable, and the work is superb.  Plus, the turn-around time is AMAZING!!  You can tell them you need a car built from scratch and I swear they'd do it in a week!

Whether it's an oil-change or a complete power-plant replacement (which is just one of many services I had these guys do for me) go to Wastlers!!!!!!
